Manager, Corporate Giving: Brian M. Owens

Brian M. Owens is from Charleston, SC, and is a business professional with over 12 years of business experience in various industries. As a child in a military family, he had the opportunity to travel and live in various locales, including Japan and Guam.

Brian was the original member from ULC founder Jacques Jean's Honeywell Value Based Planning team, and worked with Jacques to design the business model and repeatable processes that set the standard for the way Honewell businesses managed their site-level and employee-level infrastructure costs on a global scale. Prior to his 4.5 years at Honeywell, Brian worked in the mortgage industry at Equifirst Corporation in Charlotte, a subprime lender, as a business analyst on the Pricing and Pooling team. He also spent time in the banking industry at several of the major banks in Charlotte, including Bank of America and First Union/Wachovia. Additionally, Brian has 3+ years of marketing experience in the data storage field as a Product Manager at Verbatim Corporation, based in Charlotte. He is Six Sigma Green Belt certified.

Brian graduated with a degree in Financial Management from Clemson University in South Carolina, and continued his education with a Master of Business Administration, also from Clemson University.
