Marc Lewkowitz is from Canada and received his B.A. in Psychology – Industrial / Organizational from the University of Western Ontario in 1990.
Currently, Marc is the Executive Vice President of Supima a non-profit association that was created in 1954 to build awareness of American Pima cotton and to promote its consumption. He is actively engaged in the management of this organization with direct reporting to the President and the board. In this position, he oversees the global licensing program and working on expanding the licensing program with mills, manufacturers, brands and retailers along with their advertising and promotion campaign including advertising creation, placement, branding development and promotional activities.
Previously, he served as the Commodity Broker and Futures at Merrill Lynch Pierce Fenner and Smith at the Los Angeles office where he performed technical analysis of commodity markets for the development of risk hedging and speculative trading strategies. He also developed a client matrix for the Capital Markets division to enable them to mine trends and potential growth areas within their market and client base. Prior to this role, Marc worked as a Specialist Change Management and Process Consultant at Andersen Consulting in Toronto, Canada where he was responsible for facilitating a needs assessment of a client customer service department to establish project scope and implement new customer care controls.
Marc has broad experience with domestic and international logistics as well as extensive international banking and documentation process knowledge, contract management, business development and trade related operations.
